Emma Spencer is the school’s Wellbeing Lead and plays a key role in promoting positive mental health and emotional wellbeing across the school community. In this role, ES supports both pupils and staff through a range of planned wellbeing initiatives, ensuring that emotional health is embedded within everyday school life. ES also leads and coordinates activities for national events such as Children’s Mental Health Week, helping to raise awareness and encourage open conversations about feelings, resilience and self-care. In addition, Emma is also the school’s Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA), providing targeted support to pupils who may be experiencing emotional or social difficulties, and working closely with families and staff to ensure children feel safe, supported and ready to learn.
