Unfortunately, CEC School’s long-term partnership with St. Charles School in Africa has recently come to a conclusion. Over the years, this partnership has been a valued and enriching experience for our children. Pupils greatly enjoyed writing letters, learning about different cultures, and discovering what school life is like in Africa, as well as exploring similarities and differences between our communities.
We also benefited from visits by our link worker, who led engaging assemblies and helped deepen the children’s understanding of global citizenship, respect, and diversity. These experiences supported our curriculum and helped foster curiosity, empathy, and a wider view of the world.
We are now in the exciting process of finding a new link school and look forward to learning more about another community, building new connections, and forging meaningful relationships in the future. This next chapter will continue to support our commitment to cultural understanding and global learning for all our pupils.
