Visit from Imam Sultan

1st May 2016
Frieth School was delighted to welcome Imam Sultan to the school on Wednesday. Imam Sultan is a member of the Wycombe Christian and Muslim Committee and regularly speaks in schools across Wycombe in partnership with a local vicar.
He spoke to all the children in assembly and gave us lots to think about. The most important message coming through was that although Islam and Christianity are different religions they are based on the same Old Testament readings and the values held are of peace, tolerance and charity.
We explored how these values linked with our own school christian values. The pupils asked lots of really thoughtful questions and we look forward to working with Imam Sultan again in the future.
