2nd November 2018
Today the children of Key Stage 2 had a mini enterprise activity. Every single house team was split into groups of 8-10 pupils. Our task was to make/manufacture an Easter basket alongside 3 eggs. Before the week of work started we had to get a starter pack with our 150 Monopoly money, that helped us make our prototype, choose jobs, choose the company name and a logo. After the teachers agreed that our prototype was good enough they let us sell more of our product. By the end of the week we had the accountants sort out our profit or loss. The children of Key Stage 2 will find out which house won in Special Assembly today. It will be a very close competition but there can only be one winning team.
At first it was very stressful but once we all knew what to do, we got the hang of it. The most important part of today that we learnt was that arguing just slows things down and teamwork makes a dream work.
