Hands Up Who Wants to Get to Know

Frieth C.E.C. School!

As we begin our academic year, parents of pre-school children and those moving into the area, have been starting the search for the perfect school for their child.  The staff, pupils and governors of Frieth CEC School have been throwing open the doors to welcome prospective families this autumn with a series of popular open days.

Described by Ofsted as a school that provides a “very warm, nurturing and inclusive community atmosphere’ this small rural school is very proud of the supportive learning environment that it offers all pupils.  Frieth school’s mission to ‘Develop Potential Without Limitations’ can be seen across the school, and pupils from Frieth go on to a wide range of secondary schools including Great Marlow, Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School, Wycombe High School and many others in the area.

Frieth CEC are proud that Ofsted reported that the pupils are ‘articulate and confident’ and that their ‘conduct is exemplary, and the children clearly enjoy their time at school.’  Pupils display ‘excellent attitudes towards learning’ and enjoy ‘a well-planned creative curriculum, together with a wealth of additional clubs and activities.’

We are particularly proud of our 2019 Outstanding Results:  KS1 100% Reading; KS2 100%  Maths; KS2 100% Writing; KS2 100% Science; KS1 93% Phonics

Mrs Reid, Head Teacher, said:  “We love our school and love welcoming new families into our wonderful learning community. There are still opportunities to meet us at our open afternoons on Friday 8th November and Friday 10th January
