Information Technology Project

In 2014, the school evaluation demonstrated the urgent need to update our IT infrastructure. As this was a very big project which required an extremely large injection of funds, the school budget, the Governors, the PTA and the wider community worked together in the first instance to raise funds for the introduction of a new IT provider, a new wireless solution for the school, 15 laptops for pupils and 10 laptops for staff. In the second and third year of the project, the PTA were instrumental in raising funds for LED interactive whiteboards, 8 HP tablets, 8 Ipads and the ongoing costs for online teaching resources, such as Mathletics, Expresso, Education City, Phonics Play and Purple Mash.  A lot of the funding for this has been raised through the brilliant annual Frieth Hilly 5K and 10K race organised by a sub-committee of the PTA.
