10th October 2016
The school celebrated the Harvest with a service in the Church. All the classes thought about what harvest meant to them and produced something for the service, including songs, poetry and a story in the style of a Rudyard Kipling 'Just So' story about 'How the Pumpkin got its Seeds'
As usual, our year 6 pupils led the service and the pupils all joined in the hymns beautifully.
On display in the church was the harvest bread produced by some of our year 3 and 4 pupils with members of the congregation on the previous Friday ready for the village Harvest service on the Sunday.
