Celebration Assembly Autumn term 2018

17th December 2018
The end of term Celebration Assembly is always a very proud moment for our pupils and parents.
The assembly started with celebrating some of our musicians in school, with solo performances on the piano and a short group performance by our ukulele band, who provided a lovely opportunity for a Christmas sing-a-long!
During the assembly we gave out certificates to our swimmers for achieving swimming awards from level 2 up to level 7.
The head girl and head boy also gave out certificates for 100% attendance at school this term. This is particularly impressive as we have battled some nasty chest infections and chicken pox in school this term! We also announced the winners of our new House team attendance challenge. Each term we will use our attendance data to work out which house team has the best attendance for the term and award additional house points as follows:
1st place = 100 points   2nd place = 75 points   3rd place = 50 points  4th place = 25 points.
This term, the 100 points went to Adams house however, the overall winners of the Autumn Term House Team Challenge was still won by Perrin house who have earned a mufti day on the last day of term.
We also gave out our special mention and extra special mention certificates to the children nominated by their teachers for outstanding effort, attainment and modelling our school values. Well done to all who received a certificate.
