School Council Respect Assembly
25th April 2018
The school Council planned and led a whole school assembly on the theme of Respect and British Values. The children spoke about who we respect in our community, with one pupil volunteering the excellent thought that we should respect everyone in our community if we want to be respected in return!
The council also re-enacted the fable of the Lion and the Mouse, with all the council from year 2 to year 6 taking an active part in the story telling.
Finally, each class has been given 6 jigsaw puzzle pieces to put together and demonstrate what we at Frieth understand 'respect' to be.
Well done to the School Council for an outstanding assembly.
