KS1 Mini Hilly

13th October 2017
Today the children in Owls and Buzzards classes staged their own 'mini-Hilly'. After discussing the Frieth Hilly taking place on Sunday, we wanted to try and see what it would feel like to run a long distance. We set a route in the school field, walked it first, then got ready to race! We ran our course two times round the field and were very tired at the end!

To help cheer on the runners in the big Hilly on Sunday, we worked to make some motivational posters. We realised how tough a long distance running race can be, but know that the runners in the Hilly will do brilliantly!

Good Luck to all the participants in Sunday's Frieth Hilly event! We'll be cheering you on!
