Dear Parents and Families of children in Buzzards,
As class teacher for Buzzards, I am keen to convey a few points to you all.
Most importantly, please feel free to contact me directly or via the office should you wish to discuss anything with me if you have something on your mind.
Thank you to all of you who have embraced home use of Education City and Purple Mash. As you know I have been using it to set homework but don’t forget it as a resource to support all aspects of your child’s learning or even just to have some fun.
PE Kit – please make sure that your child has their complete PE kit in school at all times We usually do PE on a Wednesday and a Friday but this can change, for example when we have a guest tennis coach.
Reading Records and Reading Books – please make sure they have these in school every day. As you know the school has a reading focus this term and we are trying hard to hear the children read with greater frequency so we can help them develop this important skill. I am very grateful for the support of parent readers who are essential to this and would welcome any further help of this kind. Please also try to record reading they do at home. I know from personal experience that this can be a trial but it really does help.
